Savannah Dining
Savannah dining is some of the best in the United States! Being a coastal city, Savannah is brimming with a large selection of seafood restaurants. But, seafood is not the only dining choice - Savannah has a broad range of creative cuisines and presentations.
Savannah dining often includes the consumption of low country cooking. Low country simply means a coastal area or low-lying area of land. Consequently, low country cooking often involves seafoods. If you have a desire for oysters, shrimp, or crab cakes, visit a restaurant that features low country cooking.
Other restaurants describe their menus as southern. In those restaurants you are likely to find a gourmet (or even down home) version of grits, pecans, bourbons, ham, collard greens, yams, sweet potatoes and of course, barbeque.
