Savannah Ghost Tours

There are a number of Savannah ghost tours available to the visitor with an interest in the paranormal. If you enjoy being frightened, be prepared to have your pants scared off! Savannah has enough ghosts and ghost sightings to delight every visitor, whether you are a "believer" or a skeptic, you will at least spend the rest of the night looking over your shoulder!

Ghost Talk Ghost Walk this Savannah ghost tour is a walking tour that leaves even the hard-core skeptic with little doubt. Prices are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Tours depart at dusk from Reynolds Square. Reservations recommended. 912-233-3896

Ghosts Hauntings Tour this is a 90-minute walking tour departing at 7p or 9p, rain or shine, from 135 Bull St. Tour founder wrote the book Savannah Hauntings. Prices are $15 for adults and $5 for children. Reservations not required. This tour group also offers a Hauntings Dinner & Tour - which include dinner at the 17Hundred90 restaurant. Dinner and tour package is $40 per person, not including gratuity and alcohol. 922-234-3571

Ghost Tours at the Sorrel-Weed House located at 6 W. Harris Street, this house bills itself as one of the most haunted houses in Savannah. The Ghost Hunters of Sci-Fi Channel fame, known as The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) recorded their 2005 Halloween Special in this home. Tour includes a tour of the home and the Colonial Cemetery.

Hearse Ghost Ride - offers 4 tours a night. Tours last about 75 minutes. Prices are $15 for adults and $10 for children. Reservations are reuired. 912-695-1578

Haunted Pub Tour - this tour is just what it advertises - a 2 1/2 hour walking tour that takes you into some of Savannah's best haunted pubs. Tickets are $15 per person. 912-238-3843
