Colonel Jeb: If you are looking for a good Ghost Tour, I have compiled a special list for your viewing.

Most of the Savannah tours are directed by companies that have been conducting Savannah tours for many years, so you will find them to be very professional and worth the money!


Riding Tours
Old Town Trolley Tours 214 W. Boundary St.
This group offers a variety of tours to include a 90 minute of the Historic District. Guests can then get on and off the green and orange trolleys at any one of 15 stops. Tickets are $23 each for complete on and off privileges. Talk to them about a two day ticket if you have extra time to explore.

This group also has a Riverboat Cruise which lasts one hour and leaves twice a day on weekdays and includes a lunch cruise on Saturday and Sunday (during the Spring and Summer). Riverboat tickets are $9.95 for children under 12 and $17.95 for adults. Hotel pickup is available. Very interesting if you have never seen a working port.
Oglethorpe Tours 526 Turner
Offers a variety of tours. Tickets for the trolley tours are $10 per person for 90 minute tours and unlimited on/off until the end of the tour day (5:30p). Trolleys leave every 20 minutes, between 9am and 4:30p, from the Welcome Center.
Historic Savannah Carriage Tours West Bay St next to City Hall.
See Savannah by horse-drawn European carriage. Public tours depart from Hyatt Regency Hotel during summer hours between 9a and 10p (with afternoon breaks during hot weather). Private, group and wedding carriage rides available.
Savannah Movie Tours
Visit up to 68 movie locations during a 90-minute tour in a climate controlled luxury coach. Departure time is 4p. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children.

Walking Tours

Savannah Tours - Ghosts of Savannah
A 90-minute walking tour guided by paranormal researchers. Leaves 8p night and 10p from mid-March through early November. Limited tours from late November to mid-February. Tickets are $16.95 for adults and $11.95 for children between 7 and 14.
Savannah Walks 37 Avercorn St.
Variety of walking tours including Civil War Savannah. Learn about Savannah's role in Civil War history. Tours last 1 1/2 hours and depart daily at 10a and 1p. Tickets for adults are $15 and $7 for children between 6 and 14. Dogs on a leash are welcome.
Savannah Architectural Tours
Three different tours are available to include one at night. The tours start at different points in the city. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 students, $5 ages 6-12, and under 6 free. Reservations required. Call or check website for times and availability.
